Job Summary:
Provide clinical support in outpatient settings by assisting healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks. Ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining compliance with certification and procedural standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical history documentation, and rooming.
• Assist physicians and nurses with examinations and procedures.
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Complete required training and certifications, including audiometry and vision testing.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential or an equivalent combination of licensure and experience.
• Possess at least one year of medical assisting experience.
• Demonstrate understanding of urgency in clinical tasks and stay focused.
• Be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Have or obtain a phlebotomy certificate; completion of audiometry and vision training or CHDP certification within six months of hire is preferred.
• Provide necessary documentation, including start date, RTO, DOB, middle name, and SSN.
