Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography scans to assist clinicians in diagnosing and treating patients. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols to produce high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly.
• Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic images.
• Document procedures and maintain detailed patient records in compliance with policies.
• Monitor for and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize procedure delays.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
• Possess an active state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist if required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT imaging equipment and software.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
• Have clinical experience performing CT scans in a hospital or outpatient setting.
• Maintain current knowledge of safety standards and imaging protocols.
