Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physicians' orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and hospital policies while managing critical care procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license.
• Minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience; 2 years preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience mandatory.
• Ability to float within scope across multiple hospital campuses.
• Must pass EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation with no remediation required.
