Job Summary:

The Operating Room RN will provide perioperative nursing care, supporting surgical teams during various procedures. The nurse will ensure patient safety, assist with sterile techniques, and facilitate smooth surgical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons by circulating and managing supplies during procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to intraoperative needs.
• Document surgical procedures accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure quality care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state license in hand upon start.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of circulating experience in the OR.
• Be able to circulate general OR cases, including plastics, colorectal, urology, MIS, and more.
• Possess current BLS certification from AHA and radiation badge.
• Able to work 3x12-hour shifts, with on-call duties and holiday requirements.
• Willing to comply with local rules and RTO policies.
