Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound/Pediatrics Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on pediatric patients. The candidate will work in a hospital setting, providing specialized ultrasound services within a team dedicated to child healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pediatric ultrasound examinations, including NEC, TCD, spines, Liver Doppler, renal Doppler, and neonatal head ultrasounds.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper documentation of findings.
• Maintain compliance with certification and licensure requirements, including BLS and ARDMS or ARRT certifications.
• Assist physicians with complex imaging procedures such as liver transplants and transcranial Doppler studies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and standard infection control procedures during all procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of dedicated pediatric ultrasound experience in a hospital environment.
• Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Possess current BLS and ARDMS or ARRT certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in pediatric ultrasound procedures, including neonatal head, renal, and transplant imaging.
• Be flexible to work 4x10 hour night shifts Monday through Thursday.
• Be willing to work additional days and support emergency response during hurricane season if needed.
