Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in the Dialysis specialty. The role involves providing comprehensive dialysis patient care in a busy unit, ensuring adherence to protocols and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer dialysis treatments including IHD, PD, and CRRT according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes promptly to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Educate patients on dialysis procedures, post-treatment care, and infection prevention.
• Adhere to safety protocols, dress code, and unit guidelines to promote a professional environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute dialysis experience.
• Proficient in using dialysis equipment such as Tablo, Prismax, and Amia.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system.
• BLS certification required.
