Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technician is responsible for assisting with specialized imaging procedures within a fast-paced clinical environment. The role involves supporting radiologists and ensuring quality patient care during interventional and special procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist radiologists during catheterizations, electrophysiology, and other specialized interventions.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, sterilization, and equipment setup.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including radiation safety and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within authorized health systems.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification and Florida State license.
• Possess at least 18 months of experience in interventional radiology or specialized procedures, with 2 years preferred.
• Certified in AHA ACLS and BLS; RCIS certification preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in electrophysiology (EP) and catheterization techniques.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to floating across multiple facilities as needed.
• Maintain negative drug screen and nicotine-free status.
