Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The nurse will provide patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit focusing on telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient vital signs and observe cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Manage acute care procedures including EKGs, chest tube management, and device troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with current state certification.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience in a telemetry unit.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR, specifically Meditech, CPN, or similar systems.
• Have BLS and ACLS certification, with NIH experience preferred.
• Maintain strong critical thinking, communication, and compassionate patient care skills.
