Job Summary:
Provide expert nutrition counseling and develop personalized dietary plans for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring optimal nutritional support tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with clinical teams to monitor and adjust nutrition interventions, documenting all patient care activities accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients and families on medical nutrition therapy and adapt diet plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement comprehensive nutrition care plans based on assessment and screening outcomes.
• Monitor calorie and protein intake, recommending alternative support routines and writing tube feeding orders as needed.
• Document all aspects of nutrition assessment, intervention, and follow-up using standardized terminology and the nutrition care process.
• Evaluate nutritional supplement use, product composition, and indications to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record, adhering to clinical documentation standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold current registration as a Dietitian.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant dietitian experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in nutrition care and counseling, including documentation standards.
• Have experience with electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Travel experience is highly preferred and required for consideration.
