Job Summary:
The Cardiac Sonographer/Echo Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiograms to assess cardiac function and structure. They collaborate with physicians to provide accurate imaging data for patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures with precision.
• Operate Philips or GE ultrasound equipment in accordance with established protocols.
• Analyze and record echocardiogram results, ensuring accurate documentation in EMR systems such as EPIC.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during all imaging procedures.
• Adhere to quality standards and industry guidelines, including BLS certification.
• Travel between sites, including Watertown and Brittonfield office, as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Require RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) certification in cardiac sonography.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Philips or GE ultrasound systems.
• Hold current BLS certification.
• Possess prior experience in echocardiography procedures.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of EMR systems like EPIC is preferred.
