Job Summary:
Seeking experienced registered nurses for a Contract-RN position in the ICU at a leading hospital. Candidates will provide critical care in a busy Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit supporting complex cardiac cases.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient hemodynamics including swan-ganz catheters and arterial lines.
• Manage ventilator settings and respiratory support for critically ill patients.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs rapidly.
• Document patient data accurately using Meditech charting system.
• Adhere to safety protocols during procedures such as post-CABG, post-VAD, and cardiac support device management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid active TX RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, specifically in CVICU.
• Hold current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Exposure to IABP, CRRT, and advanced cardiac support devices preferred.
• Experience with Meditech electronic health record preferred.
