Job Summary:
Responsible for providing respiratory therapy services to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients in a teaching hospital setting. Ensures patient safety and effective respiratory care while adhering to clinical guidelines and facility policies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and interventions to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patients.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies to optimize respiratory function.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with certification requirements such as RRT, BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• Adhere to hospital policies on float assignments, RTO, and hurricane season preparedness.

Qualifications:

• Hold current RRT certification and South Carolina RCP license or pending application.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
• Obtain and maintain BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Be willing to work night shifts and rotating weekends.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills.
