Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit, ensuring safe and effective delivery of patient services. Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor patient progress and implement care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive patient assessments to identify nursing needs and prioritize care.
• Implement and evaluate individualized care plans in accordance with medical directives.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and recognize abnormal findings promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatments and interventions.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and report pertinent data.
• Adhere to safety protocols and compliance standards, including certifications and assessments.

Qualifications:

• Hold a PERMANENT Ohio license or a Compact State license in Hand, Ohio.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent Stepdown or ICU/PCU experience, travel experience acceptable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Maintain active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, with no pending actions.
• Be able to work at least every other holiday as required.
• References from a supervisor, manager, or director within the past 12 months are mandatory.
