Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to deliver specialized care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment. The nurse will collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to MICU patients with multi-system failure, sepsis, pneumonia, GI bleeding, and organ failure.
• Monitor patient conditions continuously, recognize early signs of deterioration, and respond promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic health record utilizing Epic.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to facility policies, including float requirements and travel compliance regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state with the ability to obtain VA license prior to start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience, Level 1 exp preferred.
• Epic experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current and compliant.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and comply with facility policies.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
