Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to adult patients in a critical care or emergency setting. Deliver evidence-based therapies, monitor patient responses, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal respiratory health.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer and manage respiratory therapy interventions including ventilator management.
• Monitor and document patient responses to therapies, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, certifications, and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and health management.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Maryland or Compact respiratory therapy license valid at time of submission.
• Possess at least 2 years of adult critical care or emergency department experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management and respiratory equipment.
• Be certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Have strong assessment and communication skills to support patient care.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
