Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care in the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units, this role supports patient stabilization and recovery through advanced clinical skills and compassionate patient interactions. The nurse will work within a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions thoroughly to determine appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs, neurological status, and respond swiftly to changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Document patient progress, treatments, and any adverse events meticulously.
• Adhere to all clinical guidelines, safety standards, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with appropriate state credentials.
• Demonstrate at least 1 year of recent experience in MedSurg, Stepdown, Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, or Oncology units.
• Possess Epic EMR experience.
• Have current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Be well-rounded with strong skills in neuro, trauma, and stepdown care.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license outside 50 miles of the facility.
