Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients on the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units within a hospital setting. They will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and establish individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor vital signs in accordance with physician orders.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies promptly and effectively.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact State nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent or travel experience in Stepdown or PCU settings.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; no pending credentials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Be willing to work every other holiday and rotate shifts as needed (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am).
• Provide two recent managerial references from within the past 12 months.
