Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through advanced clinical skills and compassionate support. The role involves collaboration with healthcare teams to deliver safe, individualized care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and patient needs.
• Monitor patient vitals, assess clinical conditions, and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Ohio license or compact state license in HandHA.
• Hold American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 18 months of recent, combined permanent experience in the specialty.
• Have current references from managers or supervisors in the past 12 months.
• Successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Be willing to work every other holiday and rotating shifts.
