Job Summary:
The OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a busy, level-one trauma center. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of surgical specialties, and ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions.
• Assist in surgical procedures by scrubbing or circulating as needed.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols throughout the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective procedures.
• Document patient details, procedures, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Comply with all hospital policies, including on-call, holiday, and floating requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid South Carolina or multi-state compact RN license.
• Have at least 2 years of perioperative RN experience, preferred.
• Possess BLS certification; Radiation Badge is required (to be provided by agency).
• Have scrub experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including trauma, transplant, neuro, and orthopedic.
• Be willing to work 3x12-hour day shifts, with on-call, weekends, and holiday shifts as required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills, including circulating and scrub duties in an OR setting.
