Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care to NICU patients. The role involves managing ventilators, airway procedures, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilator equipment, including servo U, PB 980, and MR1 transport vent
• Perform blood gas analysis, interpret results, and draw ABG samples accurately
• Conduct airway management procedures such as emergency intubation and routine trach care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjust RT care plans, and document findings in EMR
• Collaborate with physicians during Code Blue, Trauma, and STEMI responses to ensure effective intervention
• Maintain infection prevention standards and complete safety checklists consistently

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid TX state license and NBRC RRT credential
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in critical care or NICU respiratory therapy
• Demonstrate proficiency in ventilator management, airway care, and blood gas techniques
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical team and document care accurately
