Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and critical care patients during night shifts. Demonstrate expertise in neonatal intubation and critical care protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to neonatal and critically ill patients.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Perform neonatal intubation and assist with neonatal transports as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical interventions.
- Comply with all certification requirements including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) credential.
- Possess at least 5 years of critical care experience, with 2-3 years in NICU settings.
- Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal intubation and neonatal transport procedures.
- Hold a valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
- Be certified in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
- Be able to provide required personal information including start date, RTO, DOB, middle name, and SSN.
