Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Acute Dialysis unit. The ideal candidate will provide expert nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support patient safety and recovery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established policies and standards of care
  • Document patient progress accurately and according to regulatory requirements
  • Develop and execute individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Participate in department quality improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
  • Support clinical guidance to other units/departments to ensure continuous patient-centered care

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current WI RN license and verify education credentials
  • Require AHA Provider Level BLS and ACLS certifications prior to start date
  • Demonstrate experience in inpatient acute dialysis or similar nephrology care settings
  • Show strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, medication administration, and safety protocols
  • Exhibit excellent critical thinking and patient safety skills in high-pressure situations
