Job Summary:
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomography procedures to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. They ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout their shift.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computed tomography scans as prescribed by physicians, adjusting technical settings for optimal image quality.
• Position patients accurately and provide instructions to ensure proper imaging and patient comfort.
• Prepare contrast media and administer it intravenously or through other routes when required.
• Ensure all required consent forms are signed prior to procedures.
• Document exam details and pertinent information in patient records accurately.
• Operate portable CT equipment and manage PACS systems to transmit images efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT certification in Computed Tomography or equivalent.
• Possess valid state licensure or registration for radiologic technology.
• Have prior experience in performing CT scans within a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and imaging protocols.
• Exhibit excellent patient care and communication skills.
