Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled RN for a travel position in a PCU/Stepdown unit. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a busy unit specializing in cardiac monitoring and respiratory support.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor cardiac rhythms using EKG equipment.
• Manage patient respiratory needs with Bipap, CPAP, and heated high-flow devices.
• Perform post-surgical assessments and facilitate blood transfusions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and procedures accurately in Meditech EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of acute care hospital experience in a PCU or step-down unit.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH Dysrhythmia interpretation preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage respiratory equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential for unit success.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
• Preferred candidates possess BSN or leadership experience such as a relief charge role.
