Job Summary:

TRAVEL - RN - TRANSPLANT SERVICE (770) is an outpatient Registered Nurse role supporting solid organ transplant patient care across liver, kidney, and pancreas programs. This position focuses primarily on computer-based workflows with occasional clinic support, including patient rooming and assessment as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outpatient transplant service workflows using EMR systems such as Meditech, TransChart, and PatientKeeper.
• Assess patients during clinic days by collecting history, documenting findings, and preparing for provider evaluation.
• Support pre-, waitlist-, and post-transplant patient care assignments with a flexible, patient-centered approach.
• Participate in WebEx meetings PRN to support clinical coordination and service updates.
• Maintain compassionate, trauma-informed communication for complex psychosocial patient needs.
• Collaborate with the transplant care team to ensure timely documentation and continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse license in the appropriate state(s).
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Bring 1+ year of RN experience, with 2+ years strongly preferred in transplant care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft tools and desk-based clinical documentation.
• Have experience with UNOS and/or OPO processes, strongly preferred.
• Possess the willingness to learn transplant-specific workflows and assist across roles as needed.
