Job Summary:
Occupational Therapist (OT) needed for a travel assignment in an inpatient rehab setting. The OT will deliver patient-centered rehabilitation services, emphasizing neuro recovery, functional independence, and exceptional communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Provide manual therapy for neuro re-ed, therapeutic exercise, and functional activity programming
• Deliver neuromuscular re-ed and self-care training to support daily living skills
• Facilitate functional e-stim interventions and incorporate assistive technology into therapy plans
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Meditech Expanse
• Practice AIDET communication and lead immediate service recovery to ensure patient experience standards

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR) in the assigned state
• Complete a minimum of 2 years of hospital and/or inpatient rehab experience
• Demonstrate experience with stroke evaluation and treatment
• Provide advanced competency in neuro rehabilitation therapy techniques
• Experience treating patients in a high-throughput inpatient rehab environment with defined ratios
• Comfortable using mobility/therapy support equipment (e.g., SaraLifts and ceiling lifts) and related clinical tools
