Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. Utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency nursing interventions, including Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and trauma protocols.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, EKGs, and dysrhythmias to identify critical changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately in EPIC and other electronic health records.
• Handle patient float assignments across various units and support the nursing team as directed.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing, safety standards, and travel requirements, including timely completion of required modules and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio Registered Nurse License or an active RN license in any state with the ability to obtain a temporary Ohio license.
• Possess a BSN or Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Have a minimum of 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Maintain required certifications, including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI/AVADE/CalmEveryStorm.
• Demonstrate EPIC experience and proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Be flexible and available to work every other weekend and holiday shifts.
