Job Summary:
The X-ray/Rad Tech is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. They work closely with medical staff to produce accurate images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and radiologic equipment
• Ensure the safety of patients by following protocols for radiation protection
• Operate imaging machinery accurately according to clinical standards
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records of procedures performed
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver quality patient care
• Adhere to facility policies, safety procedures, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license as a Radiologic Technologist or equivalent certification
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in diagnostic imaging
• Have active certifications in radiologic technology, including ARRT or equivalent
• Demonstrate proficiency in X-ray and radiology procedures
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments successfully
• Be nicotine-free, with recent drug screening demonstrating compliance
