Job Summary:
The Travel Mammography Tech will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in a hospital radiology department. The role requires proficiency in handling advanced mammography equipment and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with protocol.
• Operate Hologic Selenia Dimensions and Affirm Stereotactic systems accurately.
• Perform stereotactic guided wire locs and biopsies when required.
• Ensure patient positioning and comfort while maintaining image quality.
• Maintain daily Quality Control procedures and documentation.
• Follow all safety and hospital policies, including ARRT, BLS, and unit guidelines.

Qualifications:

• ARRT Registered Mammography certification required.
• Completed 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience.
• Experience with stereotactic biopsies and wire locs preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach.
• Current BLS certification required.
