Job Summary:
Provide specialized emergency nursing care in a high-volume general emergency department. Assess, prioritize, and manage patient needs to deliver timely, quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency care to patients, including assessment and stabilization of critical conditions.
• Document patient histories, clinical observations, and treatments using Cerner electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certification requirements.
• Monitor patients' neurological status and recognize signs of stroke for prompt intervention.
• Follow departmental protocols to maintain patient safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in emergency nursing.
• Maintain current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications.
• Possess ECC Certification and Stroke Center Certification.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Be capable of working effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency setting.
• Have flexibility to work 7a-7p shifts, Monday through Sunday.
