Job Summary:
Responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Focuses on ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes during complex cardiovascular interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to prepare patients for cardiac cath and EP procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition throughout the procedure, responding swiftly to changes.
• Administer medications and contrast agents as prescribed, observing for adverse reactions.
• Document procedure details, patient responses, and post-procedure care accurately.
• Educate patients and families on pre-procedure instructions, post-procedure care, and discharge processes.
• Maintain equipment readiness and adhere to sterile techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active and valid RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of cardiac nursing experience, specifically in cath lab or EP settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular procedures.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
