Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing services in the Medical ICU to adult patients, including those with COVID-19. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery through expert clinical care and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive ICU nursing care utilizing ventilators, IV pumps, and advanced monitoring equipment.
• Perform complex procedures such as intubations, ventriculostomy drain management, and proning of patients.
• Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, and manage critical care drips with proficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, demonstrating compassionate communication and support.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including donning and doffing PPE per hospital guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license; ICU experience preferred and required.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; TNCC certification a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage ventilators and critical care drips.
• Strong assessment skills with proficiency in cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork orientation, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
