Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical units to deliver high-quality patient care. The role involves flexible scheduling and possible floating to different units within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical surgical patients in accordance with hospital standards.
• Administer medications, wound care, and utilize medical equipment such as chest tubes and wound vacs.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech EMR system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including flu vaccinations or approved exemptions.
• Maintain professional appearance and compliance with department-specific policies during shifts.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Hawaii RN license before start date; out-of-state candidates must obtain licensure upon acceptance.
• Possess 2-10 years of nursing experience in a medical surgical setting.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, with no guarantee of hours or shift preference.
• Ability to float to other units, including Laulima and Cardiovascular units, as needed.
