Job Summary:
Provide specialized radiation therapy treatments to outpatients, ensuring precise delivery of therapeutic doses. Collaborate with oncology teams to develop and execute treatment plans while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments according to prescribed protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, RTO, birthdate, and social security information.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, including fluoroscopy permits if applicable.
• Uphold safety standards and best practices, including maintaining BLS certification when available.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to enhance care quality.

Qualifications:

• Hold current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (AART-T).
• Possess valid Certification of Therapeutic Radiology Technology (RTT).
• Have at least 2 years of recent experience in radiation therapy within the last 3 months.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety and fluoroscopy permits if applicable.
• Be able to provide accurate registration details, including RTO, birthdate, and social security.
