Job Summary:

Provides specialized emergency nursing care to patients in the emergency room, ensuring timely and appropriate treatment. Assesses patient conditions, coordinates interventions, and collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Triage incoming patients to prioritize care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess changes in condition.
• Document patient care and clinical information accurately using the T-system charting system.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent emergency room or acute care experience.
• Strong ability to perform rapid assessments and prioritize patient needs.
• Proficiency in using T-system or similar electronic charting systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and variable shifts.
