Job Summary:
Provides specialized radiology nursing care to patients requiring interventional radiology (IR) procedures. Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient management throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor medications during IR procedures, adhering to physician orders and safety protocols.
• Position patients accurately to optimize procedural success and patient comfort.
• Observe and document patient responses and vital signs before, during, and after interventions.
• Assist physicians and technologists with procedural setup, equipment, and sterile techniques.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-procedure care, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant state certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in radiology or interventional settings.
• Proficient in patient assessment, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
