Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit during night shifts. Deliver comprehensive patient management, ensuring safety and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and detect early signs of deterioration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Support patient and family education regarding care procedures and post-discharge instructions.
• Float to related units as needed, maintaining clinical competence across areas.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active RN license; pending licenses must be obtained prior to start.
• Minimum of 1+ years of recent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown; cardiovascular experience required.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, NIH, and CPI preferred; required within the facility.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Capable of working nights, 4x12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends.
