Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, the Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery ensures safe, compassionate, and efficient patient experiences. This role demands expertise in obstetric care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor fetal and maternal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as ordered by healthcare providers.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Prepare patients and assist with various obstetric procedures and deliveries.
• Document all clinical interactions accurately utilizing Epic charting system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state or compact nursing license in good standing.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting and obstetric care.
• Maintain current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN levels (Advanced, Intermediate, Beginner).
• Have travel experience and ability to adapt to different healthcare settings.
• Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
