Job Summary:

Responsible for providing specialized respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients, ensuring optimal respiratory function and support. Collaborates with healthcare teams to deliver safe and effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to adult and pediatric patients.
• Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust therapies as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and Advanced Servo I’s for patient ventilation.
• Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs) to assess patient respiratory function.
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CRT or RRT credential; BLS certification required; ACLS and NRP preferred.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating ventilators and conducting ABGs.
• Be flexible to work night shifts, including 3-12 hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:00.
• Preferably experienced with adult care and some pediatric patient management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
