Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to support accurate patient diagnosis. This role involves operating CT and other imaging modalities, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards while providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic medical radiography, including CT procedures, adhering to department protocols and safety standards.
• Assist with invasive and interventional procedures, including preparing equipment and ensuring sterile techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records, documenting procedures and findings comprehensively.
• Ensure quality assurance activities are completed regularly to maintain imaging standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to adapt imaging protocols based on patient age and clinical needs.
• Rotate shifts, participate in departmental meetings, and assist with inventory management as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold current ARRT certification in Radiography with clinical competency within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrate experience performing diagnostic exams, including CT scans.
• Possess knowledge of radiation safety principles and equipment maintenance.
• Be willing to learn and perform additional modalities such as MRI, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and departmental policies.
