Job Summary:

Provides comprehensive nursing care within an urgent care setting, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and education for patients of all ages. Functions collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote quality, efficient, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial triage and assessments to determine patient needs and urgency.
• Administer medications and therapeutic measures, including IV access and management.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, patient education, and care coordination activities.
• Facilitate patient referrals, track outcomes, and communicate with providers and external facilities.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and participate in triage roles.
• Maintain safety, infection control standards, and clinical competencies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to take the NCLEX.
• Current, unrestricted RN license valid in Alaska or another U.S. state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of general nursing experience, with at least 1 year in ambulatory or urgent care.
• Knowledge of clinical protocols, patient assessment, and medical equipment use.
• Ability to perform under pressure, multitask, and work independently within a team.
