Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures to provide exceptional perioperative care for orthopedic trauma patients. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and a dedicated team in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and prepare them for surgical procedures in the OR.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient safety throughout surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate procedures such as arthroscopies, total joints, and trauma orthopedic surgeries.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions accurately in the Meditech electronic medical record system.
• Maintain sterile techniques and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Participate in call shifts, ensuring on-call availability as scheduled.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with minimum 2 years of OR experience, preferably in orthopedic trauma.
• TNCC certification required for submission; TCAR preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic surgical procedures and trauma patient care.
• Strong competency in Meditech EMR and related documentation.
• Ability to work 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts weekly, with availability for on-call shifts.
• Excellent team communication and patient advocacy skills.
