Job Summary:

Seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift at a major healthcare system. The role involves providing comprehensive care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, with potential to float to various units and the emergency department.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms and emergencies promptly.
• Document patient information accurately within electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel.
• Hold an active Ohio or compact state nursing license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – active and current.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday and during scheduled shifts.
