Job Summary:

An experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units is needed to provide high-quality patient care at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This position offers the opportunity to float across multiple units, supporting diverse clinical needs during night shifts on a weekends-only schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize abnormal ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Document patient responses and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care planning and discharge preparation.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements during all clinical activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments.
• Recent clinical experience (minimum 18 months) in Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units, including travel experience.
• Possess a valid Ohio license or a compact license recognized in Ohio.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications; active and compliant.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday as required.
