Job Description
Job Summary:
Provides specialized occupational therapy services to patients with cognitive and activities of daily living (ADL) physical functioning disorders. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes, adhering to all regulatory and clinical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Screen and evaluate patients to identify cognitive and physical functioning impairments.
- Develop and modify treatment plans utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.
- Administer rehabilitative interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and supportive device use.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary, and record all services accurately in electronic health records.
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and providers on managing disorders and ensuring continuity of care.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and clinical documentation requirements.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active OT license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Possess 1+ years of occupational therapy experience, with LTC or rehab experience preferred.
- Demonstrate proficiency with standardized assessments and documentation procedures within 1 year.
- Have a minimum of 0-1 professional references available at the time of submission.
- Be a new graduate with Level II experience considered if clinical hours meet requirements.
- Adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts, ethics, and conduct standards.
