Job Summary:
Assists in providing high-quality patient care within the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units, ensuring optimal clinical outcomes. Acts under the direction of healthcare professionals to support patient recovery and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care by monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and managing clinical interventions.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Document patient data accurately in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Follow facility guidelines, including proper certification, licensing, and compliance procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including confirmation of qualification assessments during orientation.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio or Compact state license in HandHA or equivalent.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care unit prior to travel.
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications with no pending status.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration.
• Complete all required background checks and health screens within designated timeframes.
• Be fully vaccinated per facility policies and meet travel compliance standards.
