Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within a busy GI/endoscopy unit. The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise in endoscopic procedures and critical care, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer patient care during endoscopic procedures, following established protocols and safety standards
• Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels, responding promptly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to prepare patients for procedures and post-op recovery
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and interventions accurately in electronic health records
• Complete required facility orientation, including NIH Stroke Certification and CEU requirements
• Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings, weekends, and holiday coverage

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 2 years of recent clinical experience
• Possess endoscopy experience and proficiency in GI procedures
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Obtain NIH Stroke Certification prior to start date
• Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comply with facility's continuing education and credentialing requirements
