Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing in the CVICU to patients recovering from cardiac surgeries and other cardiovascular procedures. Ensure high-quality patient care through clinical expertise and compassionate support.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients’ cardiovascular status continuously.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery expectations.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately and promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in CVICU.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle high-stakes situations calmly and effectively.
