Job Summary:
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and planning discharge for patients across inpatient, long-term care, Alzheimer’s, home health, and outpatient settings. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients through screenings and evaluations to determine treatment needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Document all clinical activities accurately and submit billing documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, team members, and patients regarding treatment progress.
• Counsel patients and families regarding disability or impairment management.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Occupational Therapist license and relevant credentials.
• Demonstrate experience in multiple clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient.
• Possess strong knowledge of State and Federal healthcare regulations.
• Exhibit excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain punctuality and professional appearance.
