Job Summary:
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) supports physical therapists in delivering patient care across various settings. They assist with therapeutic exercises, patient mobility, and administrative duties to ensure seamless treatment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Implement components of patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with stretching, exercises, and balance training.
• Read and follow instructions provided by the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with families to identify effective at-home care techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
• Transfer patients safely from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 1 year of prior PT experience.
• Hold an active PTA license.
• Maintain BLS certification.
• Hold a current state license to practice as a PTA in Missouri.
• Have LTC or Rehab experience.
